City target Ozil as Toure replacement
Manchester
City fans are feeling unsure in the Football Transfer Tavern as their
manager has demanded his club to sign Arsenal’s out of sorts superstar as a replacement
for Yaya Toure.
According
to Metro, Manuel Pellegrini has ordered the club to go out
and sign Mesut Ozil in January as the club prepare for life without their
powerhouse in midfield.

David Ospina ruled out for three months with recurring thigh injury

Spanish Journalist provides valuable Update on Arsenal’s Pursuit of Khedira
Reputed Spanish Journalist has given an update on Arsenal’s
long term target Sami Khedira’s future. The Journalist confirms that Real
Madrid has no intentions to sell the German midfielder despite his extended
time on the injury table. The Spanish giants are reportedly preparing a
contract extension for Khedira,
denting Arsenal’s hope to land the midfielder during the January window.
Lukas Podolski dismisses £10m Spurs rumour
Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski has taken to Twitter to dismiss transfer speculation
linking him with a £10m move to Tottenham Hotspur.
The German World Cup winner
tweeted:
"Hell will freeze over before this transfer would happen."
He responded to a BBC Sport tweet promoting the Gossip Column
- a summary of transfer rumours around the media.
Monday's
column included a report Podolski, 29, could be a target for Tottenham in the
next transfer window.
Arsenal Linked with Move for Mats Hummels

put to the test over Mats Hummels and whether the Gunners can prove a bigger

Arsenal reportedly Back for Morgan Schneiderlin
The Sunday Mirror has suggested
that Arsenal could be preparing a renewed bid for Southampton's Morgan
Schneiderlin.
Arsenals were one of several clubs linked with the French
midfielder this summer, but the Saints managed to defy the odds and hold on to
their man.
However, his outstanding form at the start of this season
will not have gone unnoticed. Arsenal may well return with an improved offer
for a player who could solve a lot of their defensive midfield issues.
Wenger to Monaco??
Spanish
website Fichajes.net reports that Arsene Wenger is set to be offered a giant
contract to become manager of Monaco.
The
three-year deal is reportedly worth £28million to the Frenchman -
£9.3million a season.
Wenger had a
successful time in Ligue 1 in charge of Monaco before he took over as the
Gunners boss in 1996. He has reportedly been Monaco's no.1 target for manager since their
recent takeover.
It is said
that Wenger has not responded to any speculation as of yet.
